HOW ARE WE DIFFERENT?After 20 years, you can only guess how many patients I have treated. I am an experienced Chiropractic Physician and I have treated patients from all over South Florida, all the way down from Florida City and up to Orlando. I pride myself on not being like the other doctors out there. I am different and you will notice this from the moment you enter the office. The first thing that you will notice that when you enter the office, you are treated like a person. You will also notice that I spend a lot of time with you. My main concern is understanding your condition and documenting the issue correctly. I despise the offices that are set up like a "mill." I don't believe in this type of practice. Not only are you not getting your money's worth, but I believe there is no way any doctor can provide a complete service in 10 minutes. It's physically impossible. If you are looking for an office that crams as many patients into an hour as possible, you are calling the wrong office. We dont have vans and bus services which pick up loads of questionable accident patients. You will get 100% effort and will be treated like a person. It is my pleasure to serve you. When you come here for the first time, set aside at least an hour to spend with me, one on one.
If you have a difficult schedule, I also provide home visits or house calls This is very useful for patients who have transportation issues, have kids at home, or work late hours.
WHERE ARE WE LOCATED? We have moved to the Home Depot Shopping Center at the intersection of Miramar Parkway and Dykes Road. Our office is the first door to the left of Home Depot. I practice with Dr. Robert Tomchik, MD., a well respected and accomplished medical doctor, if patients require more than just alternative therapies.

WHAT INSURANCE IS ACCEPTED? Our office accepts all PIP and all PPO coverages. We offer affordable cash plans as well, for those who don't have coverage. Everything that we do in our clinic is tailored specifically to you, the patient. The chiropractic treatments are painless, and actually feel good. We use state ofthe art physical therapy modalities which are provided by the doctor, not a therapist, or chiropractic/medical assistant. There is no other chiropractor in South Florida who spends the time, and cares for patients as Doctor Himmel does.

I am a Florida Native. In 1990, I received a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of South Florida, and in 1995, received a professional Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Life University, in Marietta, Georgia.
I am also a board membe of a non-profit organization called Sharktank Research Foundation www.sharktank.org , continue to be involved in Cystic Fibrosis research, and proudly co-authored two published research articles which outlines a revolutionary new treatment for Cystic Fibrosis sufferers.

Additionally, I am also a licensed and bonded public insurance adjuster and I am the owner of Florida Allstar Public Adjusting, Inc. This is a public insurance adjusting firm, where I represent people against their insurance companies for homeowners and commercial insurance claims.
